| High Gear Powersports originally began in 1986 as Gilroy Motorcycle Center selling Yamaha and Suzuki. In Novemeber 1998 Honda and Kawasaki were added. On January 1, 2006 ownership changed hands and Gilroy Motorcycle Center became High Gear Powersports.
